About Design With Flowers
Carol Ralles opened Design with Flowers 20 years ago. She has a strong background in Asian and European floral design and years of experience working in the floral industry prior to bringing her vision of personalized custom floral arrangements to life in the form of Design with Flowers.
Carol is dedicated to constantly learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and designs while allowing the beauty of nature to evoke her own design ideas. She also finds inspiration in regular trips to the San Francisco Flower Market. Carol makes it a point to expose herself to a wide variety of flowers, greens, vases, and color combinations so that she is aware of the best options available for her clients and can make educated suggestions based on the current trends. For example, this year Carol has noticed a trend towards a looser floral look aiming for less structure and a greater emphasis on texture through the use of fruits and vegetables.
Carol takes great pride in catering to only one valued bride per weekend. The transformation of her client into a beautiful bride and each venue into an enchanting reflection of that bride through her floral arrangements is extremely rewarding for Carol. She loves to be a part of each moment and to share in the joyful day.
In addition to providing stunning arrangements for events and weddings, Carol also arranges flowers in several personal homes during the week.
